FARMAGEDDON

This is a wake up call........ awake from the little "foodie" reality. Guns drawn for a milk raid? Why are they raiding farms anyway? Do they raid the slaughterhouses after a meat recall?

Watch this trailer.....next chance/ 2011 season is right around the corner. Join the movement.

Front Range Food Culture

The Boulder food culture....... Make no mistake, the farmers came first. For me, it's more of a Front Range or Colorado food culture.

Mars Inc, IBM and USDA map genome for cocoa plant

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/us_cocoa_genome

Sorry, but........

1. Why does it seem like we will soon be hearing about GMO cocoa, and how it's going to revolutionize everything for the poor Africans. I hope they stick too "traditional plant breeding".

2. IBM connection...... anyone?

3. Howard Yana-Shapiro used to work (or possibly still does) for a very well known organic seed company........ Seeds of Change.

4. $$$ And who owns Seeds of Change?? Mars Inc.

Not necessarily saying don't support Seeds of Change, but if a parent company owns (controls) a large portion of the organic seeds available, and they are dabbling in anything other than "traditional plant breeding", and backed by IBM and the USDA, what is the sum of all of their holdings??

Cheeezy, but interesting...........

Boulder named foodiest (what a word..... only people with a lot of money think up shit like that!!) town by Bon Appetit magazine.
