Dole Plantation, Oahu
On a off day for the soccer team we went to the North Shore. On the way we took a little side trip to the Dole Plantation. The Dole Brand is probably one of the biggest brands in the world today. No secret how InI feel about corporate agriculture, but it was interesting to go. There is a gift shop on site with the Dole logo on just about everything one could imagine. For me, the best part was by far the gardens. They have built a beautiful pineapple variety garden. There is Cacao (choclate) growing as well. It was worth the trip as a farmer.
Poetree Movement
While in Honozoolu, I had the great pleasure of linking up with Jef Hartsel aka Manifest of Poetree Movement and Cameron I of the Lomsbread crew. Good bredren doing the works and holdin a good meditation. Check out and support these the bredren based on Oahu. InI give thanks for all of the support from the Hawaii Massive.

Oahu, Hawaii adventures
Just got back from a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii. I was traveling as the Assistant Coach for my soccer club's under 18 boys team. We won the Colorado State Cup which qualified us to represent at the Region IV championships. For those interested in the soccer, follow this link for stories and pics........ http://www.westminsterafc.com/
While in Oahu, InI made several trips to check out the local ital scene, gardens, and also made some nice linkups.
On Saturday June 14th ( InI first morning there) I took a bunch of the boys to the premier Farmers' Market on Oahu at Kapiolani Community College. Several of the pictures will show a bustling scene. I have to admit that the organics/ ital was hard to find. After digging in and reasoning with a few farmers, I was hooked up with the goods. Big up to Manny and Dan at MA'O Organic Farm for the good vibes, food, and the t-shirt. http://www.maoorganicfarms.org/
Stay tuned for a bit more........
